SUMMARY
A rare original UK-supplied 1991 Maserati 222E with just 35,600 miles indicated and offered with No Reserve.
DESCRIPTION
- Introduced in 1988 as the replacement/upgrade for the Biturbo E, the Maserati 222E was facelifted by the now freelance Marcello Gandini with a rounder nose, new wing mirrors and a rear spoiler
- Powered by a 2,790cc, 18-valve, 90deg V6 featuring twin IHI water-cooled turbos and electronic ignition, generating 225bhp and 268lbs/ft and enabling 0-60 in 6.1 secs and 143mph
- This 222 E is a rare 'export market' RHD version with only 210 imported. Supplied by Meridien of Lyndhurst to its first owner and UK-registered on 08/12/1991
- Finished in Blue Silver Metallic with a classic Maserati interior in cream leather and velour with Briarwood trim and the famous Maserati central watch
- Displaying an indicated mileage of 35,600 (in long-term storage up until fairly recently)
- Detailed history file with the stamped service book. MOT history online back to 2006. Current MOT until March 2025
- On offer with No Reserve, this powerful little saloon could well be a very affordable entry into the world of Maserati ownership
