DESCRIPTION
- Based on a Mercedes-built, C-Class C280 Sport and reworked by AMG, the C36 AMG arrived in the UK in 1994
- The M3 rival featured a host of upgrades. The 280bhp, 3.6-Litre straight-six offered 0-62mph in 6.7 seconds
- This lovely three previous keeper example has been subject to Mercedes servicing with the main dealer in Wakefield for its entire life
- Subject to a recent refresh by Mercedes including new front wings and the side skirts and rear bumper were repainted. The complete underside has also been freshly undersealed and the air-con has been re-gassed making it ice cold
- New tyres were fitted a few years ago and are still in very good condition. Full-size spare wheel
- It's supplied with its V5C, almost every tax disc, the original manuals and a spare key
- Generating similar performance figures to BMW's six-cylinder M3, the C36 offers more comfort and exclusivity and currently seems much better value
