SUMMARY

Excellent, low-mileage example of Ducati's Supersport Homologation Sport Production (SP).

DESCRIPTION

Sharing the basic chassis layout as it's big brother 916, the reduced capacity 748cc SP still managed to produce 101bhp @ 11,000rpm, only 9 less than the standard 916
The 748'SP' differs from the two-up Biposto in that it uses carbon-fibre silencers, a special EPROM chip, Brembo cast-iron discs (rather than steel), and an Öhlins rear shock
This lovely example is a V5c, UK bike with a full service history
It benefits from a close-ratio gearbox, Marchesini Wheels and a DataTool Alarm
A rare bike, 1 of only 305 748SP models from 1997 with only 7 registered in the UK
