SUMMARY
Harder and harder to find, a low-mileage and low-ownership UK-supplied Mk1 MX5 Harvard Special Edition with just 15,800 miles.
DESCRIPTION
- The MX-5 Harvard was a special edition of 500 cars for the UK market available during 1997 and took its name from the prestigious Massachusetts university
- Based on the standard 1.8i, the Harvard edition benefits from a unique colour combination of Silver Stone metallic paint with a dark red interior, dark red leather seat facings with grey trim and matching door panels, a leather 3-spoke MOMO steering wheel, MX-5 logo stainless sill plates, wood dashboard trim, Harvard branded carpet mats and a polished cabin brace bar
- The exterior features 15" 5-spoke alloy wheels and special Harvard badges. Optional extras included a Mazda Guard alarm system and a boot-mounted CD multi-changer
- This smart, three-owner example has been in the same family since 2000 and has covered just under 16,000 miles
- Supplied with all its manuals and an exceptional history file with invoices for care and maintenance, old tax discs and an MOT history showing that, remarkably, the car has never had a single 'advisory' on any past MOT
