DESCRIPTION
- With the popularity of V-twin superbikes growing, in 1997 Suzuki launched the TL1000S powered by a 996cc 90° V-twin
- One year later, the TL1000R was released with the intention of competing with Ducati on track
- The TL1000R differed from its stablemate with forged pistons, stronger connecting rods and a much stiffer frame shrouded in a more aerodynamic fairing package
- Producing 135bhp and 78lb/ft of torque, the TL1000R was more than a match for other V-twin sports bikes of the same era
- This bike is in good overall condition and is confirmed running
- 33,987 miles showing on the odometer
