SUMMARY
An early example of the 3.4-litre, 300bhp, 996 in Triple Black and on offer from long-term family ownership.
DESCRIPTION
- The Porsche 996 was first introduced in 1997 and was the first water-cooled 911. This pre-facelift 996 is the lightest of all water-cooled 911 variants including the 996 GT3 which weighs 35kg more
- Its 3,387cc, 300bhp, flat-six is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox
- This is a two-wheel drive version, latterly known as the Carrera 2 (C2) and widely considered to be the purest 996
- First registered in 1999, the Porsche is on offer from over 18 years ownership, having previously being owned by a family member
- Finished in Basalt Black, over a black leather interior, it sits on 18" ‘Turbo Twist’ alloy wheels
- Equipment includes a rear wiper, dual-zone climate control and electrically adjustable, hard-backed sports seats
- The service history is impressive and includes 14 service stamps, the all-important IMS bearings replaced less than 5,000 miles ago and the fitting of a stainless steel exhaust system by Zuffenhaus Porsche
- It's supplied with the original book packs, service book, invoices, previous MOTs, spare wheel, both keys and the original gloves and covers
