On offer from long term ownership, this rare Proton GTi has been well cared for and subtly upgraded.
DESCRIPTION
- Launched in 1999 and based on the Mitsubishi Colt, the Compact GTi used the help of Lotus to develop the cars handling
- Powered by the 138bhp (103 kW) 1.8-litre, 4G93P engine originally found in the Mitsubishi Lancer GSR, but here without the turbo and with an increase in compression to compensate
- First registered in 1999, this GTi, was used as a demonstrator by Anest Brockhurst and Son Ltd
- Finished in Silver Grey with a Lotus-designed body kit, it sits on 16" 6-spoke alloys, with custom half-leather Recaro front seats and an OMP steering wheel
- Owned since 2005, this Proton GTi has been kept in a heated garage and modified over the years by its enthusiast owner
- Modifications include a 'scissor-door' conversion, custom side-exhaust, front mounted air filter and the removal of the rear seats
- Supplied with its original Proton Owner’s Manual, service history up to 67,000 miles, previous MOT Certificates and both keys and alarm fobs
- With only six examples of the Compact GTi believed to remain on UK roads, this scissor-door example could well be unique

Due to venue restrictions, all vehicles must be collected on Monday 30th September between 9am and 2pm.
Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact post-sale to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
