DESCRIPTION
- Launched in 1984 and remained in production up until 2018
- Powered by a 749cc inline-four DOHC engine with 16-valves developing 147bhp
- Various different types of engine cooling have been used by the GSX-R, initially air, then oil and from 1992, water
- The 1999 SRAD (Suzuki Ram Air Direct) variant featured fuel-injection and the addition of a steering damper
- 1999 was the final year of the SRAD design
- This UK-market example is presented in very original condition, showing 12,900 miles and still fitted with its original screen
- Fitted with a period correct ART exhaust system and presented in running order
