DESCRIPTION
- BMW’s fourth-generation 5-Series, codenamed the E39, was launched in 1999 as a largely fresh design and was the first to feature a V8 engine
- The 394bhp, S62 V8 was mated to a Getrag Type-D, 6-speed manual transmission and the suspension shared its basic MacPherson strut/multi-link design with the V8-engined E39 5-Series
- On offer here is an original UK right-hand drive manual gearbox car in excellent condition
- Superbly presented in Two-Stage, Ceramic-coated Carbon Black Metallic with bespoke M5 'parallel' alloys finished in Smoked Chrome and wearing relatively new Michelins
- The interior is equally purposeful in black leather with grey centre panels and optioned with a BMW in-car phone, BMW Sat-Nav and a Harman-Kardon sound system
- It's fitted with a Clifford Cat 1 alarm and has been treated to an Eventuri carbon intake kit (£1,500) and a custom exhaust
- The current MOT is valid until May 2024 and the car is supplied with its service history and V5C
- There are later four-door saloons with more power and more toys but, in terms of real-world driving enjoyment, nothing compares to an E39 M5

Due to venue restrictions we need to be clear of the WEC by 1pm on Monday 19th therefore any motor vehicles not collected by this time will be taken to our transport partners storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day.
