2000 Jaguar XKR 'Silverstone' Convertible

The XKR "Silverstone' is a celebration not only of Jaguar's return to racing through Formula One but of its long association with the world famous British circuit, the scene of over twenty Jaguar racing victories.

In order to mark the occasion of Jaguar's arrival in Formula One in 2000 and its long association with Silverstone racing circuit, Jaguar produced a limited run of 100 Jaguar XKR 'Silverstone' editions, of which 50 were Coupé variants and 50 Convertible.

Each car features the colour combination of Platinum Silver combined with black leather upholstery and red stitching. The specification of the "Silverstone' included CATS suspension (computer activated technology suspension), 20-inch silver BBS Detroit split-rim wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tyres, an uprated chassis, Brembo brakes and birds eye maple wood to the dashboard.

This stunning Jaguar XKR "Silverstone' convertible has travelled 35,000 miles with a full main dealer service history up to February 2009 at 28,736 miles and has since travelled around 7000 miles. It had a hood mechanism fluid and front shock absorber bushes, and Diff pinion oil seal replaced on 17/10/2013 at a Jaguar main dealer. We are advised by the vendor who has owned the car for in excess of 10 years that it drives well and the automatic transmission is very good, supplied With a MOT till 13/08/2015, also benefitting from a 370bhp supercharged 4.0 litre V8 below the bonnet this Convertible offers very capable performance.
