DESCRIPTION

When Porsche introduced the 996 in 1998 it heralded a big departure from the 911 concept, not only was it totally different to its successor but for the first time a Porsche 911 was water cooled. As the market became more demanding in terms of refinement and power it made the switch necessary. The body styling was totally new and the interior was redesigned to give to the venerable 911 a new lease of life.

Offered here is a Porsche 911 in the best colour of Basalt Black and with only 67,000 miles. The service book contains eight stamps, five from Porsche Centres' and three independent specialists. It's MoT'd until March 2014 with no advisories. The registration V5 shows that it has only five previous owners.

We consider that the values of Porsche 996s' have fallen as low as we will ever see in the future. With the level of performance that is available at these guides it's easy to understand why. With a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds and a 175mph maximum can it be disputed?

Comes with the 'Only Way is E7SSX' plate to impress at Sugar Hut!
