DESCRIPTION
- The 2000-2001 model year Yamaha R1s were the last of the sought after carburettor-engined bikes
- These Series 2 bikes had many improvements over the original 1998 models making them lighter, more aerodynamic and more refined
- Powered by a 998cc, 150bhp, inline four-cylinder, the R1 had a remarkable turn of speed and the chassis offered class-leading handling making it the must-have superbike throughout the world
- This well cared for example has covered 20,768 miles, is in near 'showroom condition' and confirmed running
- The bike retains its original Titanium exhaust silencer and original number plate bracket (commonly removed by owners to make their bike look and sound better)
- The bike is supplied with its original toolkit and the optional single-seat cover
- Supplied with current V5C, original handbook and service book along with some service receipts
