DESCRIPTION
- First registered on 14/03/2002, this beautifully presented, second-generation, 1.8-litre S2 is on offer from three years of diligent ownership
- The early S2 models were powered by a mid-mounted, 1,795cc, inline-four, generating 120bhp however, weighing only 756kg and with a 5-speed gearbox, the little Lotus could reach 60mph in only 5.6 seconds
- Finished in gleaming Ruby Red, it has covered around 29,500 miles from new and appears in excellent condition
- Full service history with ten services recorded, most recently on 07/09/2023 at 27,351 miles (see Condition Report)
- Excellent history file with the original folder containing the warranty and technical manuals, all registration documents, the original stamped service book, original key number sticker, previous MOTs and the current MOT valid until September 2024 and issued with 'No Advisories'
- The S2 spawned at least a dozen more powerful developments and limited editions over the years, however the very early cars with their purity of line and mechanical simplicity remain amongst the most desireable
- The personalised registration number 'SMA 541N' does not form part of the sale and will be put on retention by the sellers before the sale.

FSH low mileage, non import. The car is in excellent condition for its age with very little wear and tear noticeable. At present the car has 29,000 miles and will have no more than another 500 miles on by the Auction delivery date. We still have original dealership books from 2002, the service history is services on.... 6,854 miles 1/9/2003. 9054 miles 19/5/2006 12,951 miles 25/11/2009 14,810 miles 15/3/2013 18,442 miles 23/6/2014 19,290 miles 18/5/2015 20014 miles 14/6/2016 20,493 miles 30/09/200? unable to make out year cambelt and tensioner another service on 23/08/2021 the stamp has covered the mileage unfortunately. We then purchased the car and I believe the mileage to be 23 500 about when we took it on. We then serviced it on 7/9/2023 at 27,351. We have the original folder with the waranty and technical manual plus onviously all registration documents so I would say a full service history with 10 services in under 30k miles. We also have previous MOT certs 22 to 23 and 23 to 24. I also have the original key number sticker.

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £225 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
