The fifth generation SL was in production between 2002 and 2008 and featured the all-new retractable hardtop - perfect for those British showers! Ardent Mercedes-Benz followers raved about the stability of the car with the hard-top in place and the ease at which they could remove it. Such was its success, the SL is still one of the leading cars in the MB range. This car from 2002 is a lefthand drive variant featuring the very capable 5.0L 302hp V8 powerplant mated to a standard auto gearbox. It has travelled just 40,00miles (showing 64,000Kms) and has more than eight UK MoT's. Despite being Lefthand drive, it has been UK registered certainly since 2005, being used by our vendor at his home in Nice yet maintained through his own mechanics in the UK each year. Regrettably, no official MB service books accompany this car but there are service sheets from Mercedes-Benz at 11,000miles, and a visual healthcheck sheet by MB in May 2009 at 26,392 miles when presented for MoT.

This is an enormous amount of motor car offered in all round good condition and sporting Manufacturer 22-spoke alloy wheels shod in Pirelli tyres. It is presented in a very pleasing colour scheme with private registration and to be sold Without Reserve. Don't let it get away...
