The final incarnation of the Ducati 999, the 999R offered 0-60mph in three seconds and 170mph.
DESCRIPTION
- Launched in 2003, the Terblanche-designed 999 was brought in to replace the 916/996/998 series of bikes
- With a number of different models available, the 999R was the high-spec, high-tune 'homologation special' produced to race in the WSC
- A bigger bore and shorter stroke offered higher rpm and a bit more power. The bike was also equipped with all carbon fibre fairings, Marchesini lightweight wheels and Ohlins suspension
- The 999R saw great success in competition winning the WSC for three out of the four years it was produced
- This bike is number #262 of a limited run, is in immaculate running condition and has covered just 6,631 miles
- Major service including cam belts in January 2023
- Supplied with current V5C, original owners handbooks and service books, all keys and full service history including old MOTs
- Also included is the commemorative 999R plaque
