One of 15 special-editions commissioned by Honda to be painted in Colin Edwards 2002 Laguna Seca race livery.
DESCRIPTION
- With Ducati dominant in the World Superbike Championship, Honda released the SP-1 with the aim of wrestling the crown from them
- Successful in its first year, Honda revised the SP-1 with a stiffer frame, revised geometry and more power, the bike becoming known as the SP-2
- This bike is one of 15 commissioned by Honda to be finished in Colin Edwards 2002 Laguna Seca livery
- Supplied with two sets of bodywork. Due to its rarity, the owner removed the Laguna Seca livery and stored it in bubble wrap to protect it
- The bike is currently sporting the white Castrol livery that is more common on the SP-2. Both complete sets are supplied with the bike
- The bike is in immaculate running condition and has covered 12,399 miles
- Supplied with current V5, original owners books, spare key, sales brochure and some service history including old MOTs
