DESCRIPTION
Racing the Corvette C5 was General Motors plan to promote their Chevrolet brand using the race circuits of the world, notable at Le Mans. With the fifth generation Corvette they now had a production based GT car to take on the likes of Porsche and Dodge. It became one of the most dominant grand touring cars winning it's class at Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring. Riley and Scott USA were one the partners who assisted with development and the running of the cars at the time. Offered here is FIA GT1 Corvette C5-R built in Spain in conjunction with Riley and Scott USA in 2004. It also received substantial input from renowned specialists Oreca in 2005/6. The engine is 7 litre LS unit which produces a reliable 510 bhp with the FIA restrictors and set-up for long distance racing. The engine management system is Motec with upgraded wiring loom and full data logging. The gearbox is a Hewland SL 6-speed and the dampers are Penske units. The car comes with a massive array of spares comprising of driveshafts, brakes, bearings, magnesium rims, body parts and bodywork moulds. Overall the car has completed relatively low race hours. At todays guide this Corvette represent value compared with the development cost of these purpose built racers. Great for most forms of GT racing or a very special trackday car.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
