2005 Honda Integra-R race car

Midlands based legendary BTCC Team, Eurotech, has been run very successfully by Mike Jordan since the late 1980's. Today his driver line-up includes his rapid son, Andy Jordan, and together they have represented Honda in Touring Cars as the most successful private team to back up the 'Works' factory supported Yuasa Hondas. Beating both privateers and most of the "Works' teams on a regular basis has become the norm at Eurotech and it is their professionalism and attention to detail that sets them apart from their competitors.

In 2005 the team were racing Integra's prior to the current Civic model. The race cars were built specially for the factory in Japan by Spoon Sports and were supplied to all the teams globally without sunroofs, interior trim or any items unnecessary for homologated race cars, but with integral roll cages.. Eurotech then fitted out the race cars with their BTCC individual suspension, engines, gearboxes and further demon tweaks.

This particular right hand drive car was converted to semi-race spec for use on sponsor's promotional days at the circuit, allowing clients to be driven round in a very similar car to the actual BTCC cars. It was built from a genuine Spoon shell with integral cage and also fitted with Eibach springs, race dampers, a Mugen differential, Recaro race seats etc. The engine was standard but still gives an amazing 220bhp thanks to its unique V-Tec design.

Today it has covered just 1,465 kms of demonstration laps and is an absolutely ideal car for trackdays or driver tuition. It is a very clean shell with no accident damage and built to a very high 'Eurotech' standard as the pictures will show, especially if you click on them to enlarge.
