An excellent example of a desirable and very affordable Bentley GTC with just over 40,000 miles and virtually full service history.

DESCRIPTION

Background:

Bentley Motors debuted the Continental GT in 2002 at the Paris Motor Show, at the Le Mans 24 Hours and at Goodwood. Echoing the power, style and elegance of the original models, the new Continentals boasted 6-litre turbocharged W12 engines, with 560PS (552hp) and 650Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox and permanent Torsen-based four-wheel-drive, to harness that continent-crushing performance and allow 0-60 in a supercar-rivalling 4.8 seconds (5.1 seconds for the Convertible), with a top speed a whisker under 200mph.

The Continental GT was an instant success, blending performance with the style and comfort demanded by Bentley customers (including such luxuries as a dashboard clock by Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling!). The convertible GTC followed in late 2006, offering the lucky owners a chance to enjoy the sort of superlative open-top motoring which Bentley has offered since its earliest days.

The car:

This outstanding example is finished in dark Saphire (metallic) with a blue mohair hood, complemented by a Magnolia hide leather interior, contrasted with Portofino secondary hide, with matching seat belts. The carpets are blue, with beige wool over-rugs and the top roll and steering wheel are also blue, while the headlining is Magnolia.

The facia, finished in Bird’s Eye Maple and virtually immaculate, houses the standard Bentley entertainment system from this period, which the vendor assures is working faultlessly.

This imposing motorcar comes with a full 12 month MOT showing no advisories, as well as HPI certification and will benefit from a full service and inspection.

The paperwork comprises a Main Agent print out from 03/06/2010 (at mileage 12,531) to 29/05/2020 (at mileage 33,286). The original service booklet is also present, comprising 10 stamps and covering the period 20/04/2007 (at mileage 25 miles) to 14/06/2020 (at 33,895 miles.)

The vendor states that car drives very well indeed, as one would expect from a luxury performance machine costing well over £100,000 when new, with Bentley’s legendary build quality and the attention the car has received over the years still very evident.

Summary:

This outstanding Continental GTC offers cosseting luxury and serious top-down performance in an understated and affordable low-mileage package, at a fraction of the original price. An opportunity that is absolutely not to be missed.
