DESCRIPTION
- Following cessation of MGC production in 1969, London's largest MG agent University Motors Ltd purchased 176 unsold cars and began marketing some of them as ‘University Motors MG Specials’
- Finished from new in Tartan Red with a black interior and optioned with a manual gearbox, overdrive, wire wheels and a heater
- Only three owners from new. 1st 10 years, 2nd 12 years, 3rd 31 years
- Bare metal, nut and bolt restoration in the early 1990s
- 51,500 miles indicated. This lovely CGT remains in excellent condition
- Fresh MOT prior to the auction. The registration, CGT 70H, will remain
- Supplied with its history file, Heritage Certificate and an album of restoration photos
Viewing is highly recommended and vehicles will be available for viewing at the venue on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th June between 10am and 5pm, and then from 9am on Saturday 18th ahead of the auction which begins at 10.30am.
