An early GT that's been fully restored and sensibly upgraded.

DESCRIPTION

  • Originally purchased in Jersey and imported to the mainland in 1971 as a 'J' reg
  • Heritage Certificate confirms this is a matching numbers vehicle still with its original engine and running gear which was first registered 27/01/1967
  • Fully restored and rebuilt approximately 10 years ago, including engine, gearbox and running gear
  • Upgrades include single 12v battery, uprated cooling system, alternator conversion, improved shock absorbers and suspension, new wiring loom, and a new radiator
  • This is an early GT and has all the desirable features of the early models, including the 3-synchro gearbox, narrow gearbox tunnel, early curved quarterlight catches, steel Mk 1 wheels, and pre-introduction of reversing lights

Viewing is highly recommended and vehicles will be available for viewing at the venue on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th June between 10am and 5pm, and then from 9am on Saturday 18th ahead of the auction which begins at 10.30am.

Due to venue restrictions we need to be clear of The WEC by 1pm on Monday 20th therefore any motor vehicles not collected by this time will be taken to our transport partners storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day.
