SUMMARY
A much loved, three-door, 8-valve car in Alpine White with gold alloys. Time for fun.
DESCRIPTION
- Cherished by our vendor for around five years, he has carried out lots of fettling to his tastes to ensure this lovely Golf looks and drives as it should
- Very original, with a solid body shell, and original optioned BBS alloys in gold, recently refurbished, diamond cut and fitted with period Pirellis
- The interior has been changed by our vendor to the 'rainbow' type from the original red and grey 'strobe-stripe'
- New master cylinder, cambelt and replacement 16v head have also been fitted during his ownership
- The Mk2 may have suffered for not being the first Golf GTi, but in many ways it’s a better car: faster, more comfortable and more modern

Extremely straight and tidy, featuring predominantly original paint with some minor remedial touch ups in common areas over the years. No damage or bubbling to paintwork. Extremely solid and rust free shell. Recently fully professionally rust proofed by Dinitrol to enhance and protect. As smart underneath as it is on top. The 14" dealer option BBS alloys have reportedly been on the car since new, and the current owner has had them professionally refurbished with the correct diamond cut finish in the original gold colour, and shod with appropriate Pirelli tyres for that authentic 80s look.
