Ford Model T Childrens' Replica Electric Car

This unique childrens' car was built by an engineer in the 1960s for his daughter. It is a close replica of a Model T Ford, with a hidden electric motor and car battery at the rear driving the back wheels. With a simple one-pedal ‘stop or go’ system with an external arm to select forward or reverse and limited to 4mph maximum speed, it would be ideal for a young driving enthusiast.
It also has an external handbrake and a rear mounted sliding lever to put it into neutral – handy if you wish to push it along without a driver in the seat. It has pneumatic wire wheels, working headlights, an electric horn, a bulb horn, dashboard instruments, two opening doors, AA/RAC badges, a BP petrol can on a running board and a complete miniature picnic set in a rear mounted basket and is presented in good condition and everything works as it should. It measures 54" long, 27" wide and 28" tall – fits in most estate cars or 4/4s. Owned by the vendor for some 17 years and enjoyed by his five grandchildren.
