DESCRIPTION
Produced in 2009 by Morgan of Worcestershire to celebrate the centenary of the production of their first tricycle car in 1909, the target to manufacture 500 was rather over-estimated, so only c.150 were eventually built, this one being chassis number 076. The car features aluminium bodywork over a tubular steel chassis with a 3-speed gearbox driving the rear wheel and features a handbrake, electric headlights, coil sprung front suspension, wire wheels with pneumatic tyres, stainless steel dummy exhausts and a leather steering wheel. Ahead of the drivers grey pleated seat is a wooden dashboard with a toggle switch for the lights and a 'VDO speedometer' reading an optimistic 100mph and the 3-speed gear leaver with the handbrake to the left of the driver! To the front is a wire mesh grille, brass coloured radiator cowling and topped with the Morgan badge.
