A Range Rover with a Royal past. Formerly the property of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with video footage of HM Queen Elizabeth driving this particular Range Rover with the number plate clearly visible, confirming its heritage, comes to sale with Iconic Auctioneers for £50,000 to £60,000 at the NEC on November 11th.

Customised to Her Majesty’s specifications this third-generation L322 Range Rover was first registered in 2004 having been supplied by Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations as per Contract 34319. It’s finished in Epsom Green with Sand Hide and was specified with a modified front grille with covert lights and required switch pack, front and rear seat covers, the mandatory dog guard, load space mat, side steps and mud flaps. In addition, there are other fitments that are more specific to Her Majesty’s vehicles such as dual rear window switches and rear grab handles to assist with entry and exit, a common feature on Royal 4x4s.

Having covered 109,675 miles from new, the service history is comprehensive, with its first service in April of 2005 with Stratstone Mayfair before a further five with Hunters Land Rover, two with specialists in Windsor, a further five services with John Dennis in Aylesbury and most recently, a Land Rover service in July of this year.

Remaining in excellent condition throughout and with confirmed Royal ownership, this is one Range Rover that has, and will, stand out from the crowd. There will doubtless be any number of Royal fans bidding for this gracious piece of British Royal automotive history.

1996 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit - Ex-Lieutenant Governor of Guernsey. GUIDE PRICE £20,000 - £25,000

Cossetted and cherished to within an inch of its life, this elegant, late-model Silver Spirit has enjoyed the Guernsey sunshine for 25 years between occasional Royal duties.
This particular Silver Spirit has a unique history. It has spent nearly its entire life on the picturesque island of Guernsey, bearing a registration date of February 1996. The discerning owner ensured the car’s meticulous care, entrusting its servicing and maintenance to the esteemed Rolls-Royce specialists, Hillier Hill, of Olney, Buckinghamshire. In 2014, the vehicle’s prestige saw it serving the Guernsey government as the official transport of the Lieutenant Governor, the Queen’s representative on the island. In this capacity, the car was chauffeur-driven and amassed only limited additional mileage. It received regular services and care by Le Riche Auto in Jersey, further solidifying its immaculate condition.
Finished in gleaming Red Pearl over a classic R-R interior in Magnolia Hide piped in Bordeaux with a Bordeaux top-roll and matching carpets. Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition having covered a relatively low 41,000 miles, corroborated by its comprehensive service and maintenance records. Recent enhancements include a complete brake system overhaul in 2021 and the replacement of rear suspension spheres, ensuring top-tier driving performance and comfort.

Every Rolls-Royce exudes an unmistakable presence on the road, and this Silver Spirit, with its remarkable condition, low-mileage and impeccable care embodies this characteristic to the fullest. Its road-ready status makes it an enticing prospect for a new owner to cherish and drive. Currently, the car is registered in Guernsey, but the UK import VAT has been paid, simplifying the acquisition process, should it remain in the UK.
