The Most Expensive London Taxi Cab Ever Built

‘The Rolls-Royce of London Taxi Cabs’ at £150,000 New, the Most Expensive London Taxi Cab Ever Built with Just 4,120 Miles, Now for Sale with Iconic Auctioneers for £35,000 at The NEC Motorshow November 11th

Few people getting into this cab would have had any idea that they were probably entering the most expensive car they had ever travelled in.
One of only five Project Kahn ‘Last of Line’ Edition TX4s, costing £150,000 when new and just 4,120 miles on the clock here is something that will allow you, like Prince Philip, to get around London unrecognised and incognito.
Unique Rolls-Royce-certified metallic purple over black two-tone paint scheme, its interior has been upgraded with luxury leather seat coverings and an in-car fridge. This would be the ultimate London taxi cab ride most of us would ever experience. The cab is powered by a 2.5-litre VM Motori diesel engine.

This is an incredibly rare opportunity to acquire one of five “Last of the Line Edition” examples of the iconic TX4 black cab.

Heavily upgraded both inside and out by renowned car customisation specialists Project Kahn, the car is equipped with many unique external design elements as well as luxurious interior features. Combined, these upgrades ensure that Kahn succeeded in creating the “Rolls-Royce of black cabs”. Mechanically perfect and having covered only 4,120 miles from new, this particular example is in fabulous condition and ready to be used as the luxury chauffeur vehicle it was intended to be, or make a unique addition to a car collection.

Afzal Kahn has been a pioneer of automotive design for almost two decades, having created an array of vehicles for some of the world’s most exclusive clients. He has led some truly ground-breaking projects, including the building of fully coach-built vehicles such as The Vengeance, a hand crafted aluminium bodied supercar, and the Flying Huntsman 6x6, a six-wheel-drive luxury off-roader.

Having appeared on several television programmes including National Geographic’s Supercar Megabuild and BBC’s The One Show, Mr Kahn is highly regarded in the industry, having also received numerous awards including a lifetime achievement award from Car Dealer Magazine.
The final ‘Last of Line’ model is a re-imagined TX4; designed with a super luxurious finish and understated design features. The ‘Last of Line’ aims to utilise classic design cues to surpass luxury limousines as the ultimate way to travel.
