DESCRIPTION
Background:
The E30 3-Series BMW cemented the Bavarian marque’s place in the petrolhead hall of fame. In the 1980s, compact, high quality rear-wheel drive saloons were in short supply and consequently, BMW's E30 3-Series quickly stood out as something special – being lightweight, refined and offering unparalleled driving pleasure. The range-topping M3 is now rightly one of the most sought after sports cars of the last 30 years and can command in excess of £100,000.
The Car:
The red 1990 325i saloon comes with BMW’s excellent six-cylinder 2.5-litre engine and the ever sought after manual gearbox and rare sunroof. The present owner has cared for the car over the last few years, keeping on top of major works. Bodywork can be a problem on these cars, but the body has only one blemish – a small bubble on the rear bootlid. Otherwise, the body has no corrosion, dents or other damage.
Supplied with an MOT until December, it has also recently benefited from four new tyres and a new alternator. It starts beautifully on cold mornings and runs and drives perfectly.
