A unique opportunity to acquire the first David Piper helmet to come to auction. A genuine race GVA helmet worn by David for many years during the 1970s and 1980s. He is arguably the most successful privateer racing driver in the history of motor sport plus Enzo Ferrari's test driver. The helmet has suffered some heat damage during a fire in David's garage but is however sound, complete with a quality display case and plaque.

Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Payment by card can be made (in person only)

Due to venue restrictions, all automobilia lots must be collected on Monday 26th August between 9am and 1pm.

Anything that is not collected by 1pm on Monday 26th will be taken to our secure storage facility in Warwickshire where, if your lot is not collected within two weeks, storage fees will be incurred. Shipping can be arranged at your expense, or can be collected with 48 hours notice.
