DESCRIPTION
The Supermarine Spitfire is the only British fighter plane to be manufactured before, during and after the Second World War. It gained legendary status during the Battle of Britain in 1940 and saw conflict in many theatres, and is today one of the most recognised and beloved of all military aircraft. Perhaps one of the most important instruments, which must certainly resonate with those who like to drive fast, this airspeed indicator appears to be unused and still in its cardboard box issued in 1944. Universally appealing and perfect for display in an office or man cave, we note that very few people may have the opportunity to reply to a question and proudly say: "It's a speedo from a Spitfire.".

Any vehicles not collected by 2pm on Monday 29th August will be taken to EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £175 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 29th onwards.
Automobilia can be collected from the Wing on the day of the auction or Monday morning between 9am and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
