DESCRIPTION
Background:
Introduced in 1994 as Kawasaki’s response to the all-conquering Fireblade, the 900cc Ninja quickly won its place as one of the UK & Europe’s favourite 1990s sports bikes.
Combining a light 750cc-style chassis with a bruising 900cc engine - which at 125PS packed more of a punch than it’s Honda rival – it was a potent package right from the start and garnered plaudits from the media and riders alike.
The C1 is the third generation of the machine. Debuting in 1998, it featured an all-new engine which now produced a tasty 143PS along with variable ignition timing, a new swingarm, new forks and new shock. These developments meant not only greater performance, but a lighter bike - indeed the C1 was lighter wet that its predecessor was dry.
The Bike:
This 1998 UK-supplied machine is a true time warp, having completed less than 4,000 miles from new. As you would expect, it presents in near-perfect condition, with every standard detail still in place, right down to the exhaust silencer.
This is a true once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire an unrestored C1 just like it left the factory. Mechanically perfect, serviced and supplied with a brand new MOT.
