Multi-Signed 2007 Race of Champions Jacket

"As well as being a Colin McRae/team Subaru admirer, I knew Colin McRae very briefly in a professional capacity prior to his accident. After that time, I supported the family by co-ordinating & transporting their Colin McRae memorabilia van & trailer to events throughout the country & internationally. This extended to selling a variety of merchandise at those events & as such, became friendly with the family as well as close McRae associates. My associations naturally ended when the Colin McRae Vision charity ceased in 2011.
I am imaged above (centre) with Jimmy McRae (left) & Jackie Irwin (right) (Subaru Pro Drive assistant to chairman David Richards CBE with a cheque for the money raised.
The provenance surrounding the Alpinestars multi autographed jacket is as follows:

The 2007 Race of Champions took place at Wembley Stadium on 16 December. Colin McRae was one of the drivers chosen, however due to his fatal accident shortly before, brother Alister filled Colin's position.

As part of the event marketing, every driver received a specialist made Alpinestars jacket to wear. Colin's jacket, size S (as imaged) was one of those 16 driver jackets.

As a mark of respect to Colin, the jacket was autographed by some of the drivers: Michael Schumacher (top right shoulder); Travis Pastrana (right breast pocket); Sebastian Vettel (right side - below breast pocket);

Alister McRae (top left shoulder); Tom Kristensen (lower left shoulder); Yvan Muller (Left side - breast pocket) & Sebastien Bourdais (left side - below breast pocket). The McRae family, who were present at the event, were presented the autographed jacket by female rally legend Michele Mouton (co-organiser). The family then gifted the jacket to Colin's Business Manager Campbell Roy. In 2010, Campbell was moving premises from Hillington to Jerviswood. At this point the jacket was gifted to me.

I can confirm that the image above is that of the autographed Alpinestars jacket that was gifted to me by Campbell Roy; that the entire provenance is accurate & its transference to my possession in 2010."
