DESCRIPTION

  • Motobi were the result of a Benelli family dispute when they disagreed with the running of the business
  • Giuseppe Benelli set up a rival firm called Motobi and started producing bikes in competition
  • Focussing on race bikes throughout the 1960s and recorded numerous victories
  • Motobi was later absorbed into Benelli when the family rift was forgotten
  • This replica 250cc Zanzini is presented in good overall condition
  • Built by the late Barry Frary from Rotherham
  • Fitted with Suzuki front brakes and complete with spare engine and other parts
