DESCRIPTION
'The Whisper' was one of four Charles Sykes sculptures officially reproduced by Heredities in 1968 from the Montague collection. Heredities Limited was founded in 1968 by Timothy Abel Smith and his wife Maureen and specialised in producing cold-cast figurines and became a major employer in Kirkby Stephen.(A market town in Westmorland and Furness, Cumbria, England.) Now being 56 years old and retaining its original patination and marble base, it is an exceptionally rare find today.
